About

Meet Teresa Williams

Nonprofit consultant and grant writer with 15+ years of hands-on experience helping community-driven organizations start strong and secure sustainable funding.

My story

For over 15 years, I've been on the front lines of nonprofit work β€” building programs, leading teams, and serving communities in Morris County, New Jersey. As Executive Director of Spring Street Community Development Corp. dba Table of Hope, I grew an organization from the ground up to serve thousands of families each year β€” and raised over $1 million in funding along the way.

Through that journey, I've navigated every challenge nonprofit leaders face: securing funding, building volunteer programs, managing compliance, developing boards, and scaling operations while staying true to mission.

Now based in Montgomery County, Maryland, Being T Consulting was born from a simple realization: the knowledge I've gained through years of hands-on work can help other nonprofit leaders avoid costly mistakes and move faster toward impact. I don't offer theory β€” I offer the practical wisdom that comes from doing the work every day.
