Meet Teresa Williams
Nonprofit consultant, grant writer, women's ministry leader, and personal coach — with 15+ years of hands-on experience building organizations and walking alongside women through life's most challenging seasons.
My story
For over 15 years, I've been on the front lines of nonprofit work — building programs, leading teams, and serving communities in Morris County, New Jersey. As Executive Director of Spring Street Community Development Corp. dba Table of Hope, I grew an organization from the ground up to serve thousands of families each year — and raised over $1 million in funding along the way.
Through that journey, I've navigated every challenge nonprofit leaders face: securing funding, building volunteer programs, managing compliance, developing boards, and scaling operations while staying true to mission.
But before the nonprofit work, and running alongside it every step of the way, there has always been a calling to support women.
Now based in Montgomery County, Maryland, Being T was born from a simple conviction: the knowledge, the faith, and the lived experience I've accumulated — through building nonprofits, mentoring women, and walking through my own hard seasons — can help others move forward faster and with more clarity. I don't offer theory. I offer the wisdom that comes from doing the work every day.
A Calling to Support Women

Long before coaching became a formal offering, Teresa was already doing the work — in church pews, community halls, and on the other side of the world.
Women's Ministries Facilitator & Women's Missionary Society Consultant
Morristown, NJ — 2010 to 2025
For over a decade, Teresa led and facilitated women's ministries and the Women's Missionary Society — creating safe spaces for women to grow spiritually, process life's challenges, and support one another. As Christian Education Director and Church School Superintendent, she also shaped the faith formation of hundreds of women and families.
International Service — Capetown, South Africa
2009 – 2010
Teresa and her family relocated to Cape Town, South Africa to serve some of the world's most economically marginalized communities. Her work there included domestic violence training and support, employment readiness programs for women, HIV/AIDS awareness and testing, and feeding over 500 children. This experience deepened her commitment to women's dignity, safety, and empowerment.
Mentoring Women in Business
Maryland, 2006 – 2008
Teresa founded her own consulting business to support women and minority contractors — specifically helping them navigate finance, banking, insurance, and surety industries. She collaborated with community organizations to help these business owners access credit, build continuity plans, and gain the financial footing they needed to grow.

Throughout her life — as a wife, mother of four, faith leader, and executive director — Teresa has consistently shown up for women navigating relationship challenges, personal crossroads, and the need to find themselves again. That role as mentor and guide is now the heart of Being T Coaching.

Forged Powerful Collaborations
Partnered with over 250 corporations to create employee service experiences, and worked alongside institutions like St. Elizabeth University and County College of Morris to deliver education, mentorship, and large-scale community events reaching over 2,500 families.

Teresa Williams knew she had a higher purpose. As the Executive Director of Spring Street CDC and First Lady of Bethel Church in Morristown, she works tirelessly to care for the working poor, amplifying their voices through faith, serving the unseen. But when a fire destroyed the church parsonage, the community rallied to support her family, exemplifying the reality of “what you reap, is what you sow.”
